Education

Sunday School Classes

Berkeley has several Sunday school classes for a variety of age groups and interests.  All classes meet at 9:40 am on Sunday morning.

Adult Classes

• McCaig Class.  Meets in the Christian Life Center (CLC).
• Theophilus Class.  Meets in the Sanctuary.
• Cape Crusaders Class.  Meets in the CLC.
• A Circle of Friends.  Meets in the Sanctuary.
• Seekers Class.  Meets in room 3.
• Sojourners Class. Meets in room 1.
• Young Adult Class.  Meets in room 7 in the CLC.

Youth Classes

• Junior High class.  Meets in the CLC.
• Senior High class.  Meets in the CLC.

Children’s Classes

• Nursery care for infants and toddlers, room 2.
• Children’s classes, rooms 4 and 5.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer, Berkeley’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun-filled educational extravaganza for our children!  This summer, Berkeley partnered with South Austin Church of the Nazarene to present “Crocodile Dock.”

Other Classes and Groups

Berkeley has a number of covenant groups, adult Bible studies, classes such as Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, and marriage and relationship classes.  Check our calendar and announcements to see what’s coming up.

Education Committee

The Educaton Committee provides learning experiences for people of all ages so that they may grow in understanding the gospel and become better equipped for daily living as people of faith.  They are responsible for Sunday school, records, recruiting teachers, training, resources, Vacation Bible School, additional adult studies and other education opportunities.
