Lay leadership is a vital part of Berkeley, strengthening the members to be leaders for Christ in the church and the community.  There are many ways to get involved, including:

Serve on a Committee

In addition to the outreach, education, and worship-related committees, the operations of the church are directed by several other groups.  These include the Finance Committee, Staff-Parish Relations Committee, Trustees, and the Administrative Council.  You don’t have to be a longtime Methodist or even have a lot of leadership experience to serve in any of these capacities, and we welcome new ideas!

Teach a Sunday School Class

Have burning questions about the Bible or ideas about faith you’d like to discuss?  Chances are there are others who feel the same way!  The Education Committee can help you find a class or put one together yourself.
